
Jim Schwartz did not have much to be excited about on Sunday night.
The Detroit Lions lamented missed opportunities following Sunday night’s 27-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Detroit made six trips into San Francisco territory, only to come away with one touchdown and four field goals.
In the postgame press conference, Lions head coach Jim Schwartz also explained his team’s decision to run the football early and often against San Francisco’s stout front, while QB Matthew Stafford discussed what went wrong in the loss.
